God helps me in all situations, hard or easy. Hard? Getting over a break-up. Easy? Answering this question. God does everything for me.

Yes. It is even a promise in His Word. "..I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.."
When we start to think He isn't helping us... we need to do a self-check and see if we are the ones that have been forsaking Him.
Do you ask for help from God and totally rely on Him in those hard situations? Doubt cannot be in your mind when you pray.
If we only had faith the size of a mustard seed, we could move mountains... but moving mountains starts with the rocks at the foothills.
If you give 100%, God will make up the difference. :)

Absolutely, I have prayed a few times in my life. I only ask for assistance when it is serious. (not for lack of sleep, like in the previous answers). But, if you mean it and you feel it in your heart and ask got for guidance, he WILL answer. My daughter was very sick as an infant and didn't know if she would live from day to day. I prayed with everything in me and she survived. They said it was a miracle. The power of god is remarkable!!!!

yes you do just sometimes it's not the answer you want. example
One time messed up and quit a job. Was praying since men are supposed to work. A guy came to my doorstep and told me my old job wanted to hire me back. Pray then Plan......some plan then pray it works out or for God to make it work. Pray then plan

God only guides us to the answer, He doesn't do the job for us. If he did, then we would all be useless. It's the price we have to pay for having free will.

faith in God
is what helps you
God doesn't actually do anything.
He had a long rest after creating the universe
then one day, after millions of years,
He came back and got Mary pregnant
and hasn't been seen since.
