hey there's free broadband with Sky (must be a subscriber), Orange (need 18 month mobile phone contract) and TalkTalk (pay for phoneline and get free broadband)

otherwise Be Unlimited looks kinda cheap and fast, too.

Cheapest isn't always best..Some real rip offs out there.Depends what you want ...Capped or uncapped ..Tied in phone package or just Broadband on its own.Go to any search engine and type ISP Comparisons..You'll get the full story ...prices...speeds ...contract terms...everything you need to make a sensible choice to suit you.Orange offer a decent deal and are pretty good in Customer Services and are also on the ball with trying to get the exchanges unbundled and installing their equipment to get the faster speeds for customers.

Tiscali is cheap but you may want to focus on the quality of your broadband connection and not get ripped off. I've been with AOL since 2004 and they have given me a full on broadband connection and raised their speed twice for me and have even cut my price from £19.99 a month to £9.99 a month.

Talktalk! You get unlimited calls to landlines (including line rental) plus broadband up to 8 mega bits for only £21 per month!

I don't advise you to get the cheapest, thinks go wrong Ive been with BT broadband for two years and there good,it costs me £20 per month for my laptop,I think they do one cheaper than that, good luck.

don't always think cheap is best talk talk is crap bt in my experience is better faster and more reliable and safer I've had more crap in my bulk mail since talk talk was installed than any other isp provider and dont get talk talk security it slowed my pc down to nothing until i deleted it and installed avg the whole talk talk package is rubbish they should stick to phones and they cant even get that right at the moment as soon as i can i will walk away from this lot and never give them my business again

Cheap ones are usually restricted to 2 mps, if you want fast then you have to pay a lot more
