I have worn glasses for a very long time and recently have started using contacts. I think they are both cool, but for different circumstances. Contacts are cool in the summer because you can wear trendy shades not those awful clip-ons. I have photochromatic glasses for work and everyday use but they do not stop the brightness from the sun when driving, they only cut out the uv light. However, if you can afford it you can buy several different frames to tone with different outfits. On the continent they do this regularly because they are much cheaper there. Why are glasses so expensive over here for those of us that just have to wear them?

It depends, some people prefer glasses because contact lenses are just too much of a mission and expensive, and others prefer contacts because they always loose or break their glasses. I think both are cool because they make you see the world perfectly. An other alternative is to have lens surgery (if you've got the money), then you wont need either to make you look cool!

"cooler" would be contact lenses, but glasses can be hot.
but both add to your personality - i wear both, depends how im feeling, and some ppl physically cant wear contacts so its hard to say which is cooler since some ppl dont have a choice!

Definitely glasses. One can really use them to improve ones appearance. But really be careful, they could make you look awful as well! do take your time in choosing them, try them on few times different days to be sure.
However, there are some faces (because of their shapes) that don't agree with them, in that case contacts.
I'm 37 and just started to find reading uncomfortable, I was so excited I finally had an excuse for buying them!

I personally can`t wear contacts because it irritates my eyes to have them in there. So when I drive, or sometimes watch tv I just put on my glasses. It`s no big deal really, everybody wears them. Plus, you can do so many cool things with glasses. Switch `em up, style em with your outfit. I love `em.

If you can wear them, contact lenses, as you can change your eye colour and (an added bonus) you can see clearer plus play sport and they don't get steamed up when the temperature changes!!!

Both have their own show...glasses these days look sophisticated and have lost that "geeky" look once associated with before but contacts show a more fuller face.

Both. I like wearing contacts because I don't feel like I have something huge on my face, but they irritate my eyes and make me tired and drowsy. I like wearing glasses because people always comment that I look a lot smarter (mine are rounded squares), but I feel like I have something huge on my face that will fall off any second.
So I prefer both.
