hey my iPod has been corrupted, & when i connect it to my PC the iTunes software cannot even restore it.It says that "an unknown error occured (1418) while restoring ur iPod". Please tell me what to do & where to get it repaired from...

it is basically a simple process ... throw it off.. wait .. go to a service center

Try using the Ipod updater located in the
Start (menu)/All programs/Ipod /....
This is where it is generally located.
Also refer to the manual supplied with the player

Hopefully it will work.


If not, take it to a service centre.

Simple take the i-pod in ur hands throw it on to the ground and stamp it. Dont u think thats very simple

The first best thing you should do is check this website out and see if one of the mnay trouble shooting tips solve the problem. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/
If this doesnt work, you should get to an apple store and get it fixed. Usually the online help is pretty exhaustive and it should be enough.
