you'd have to go to the troubleshooting guide in your user's manual. The info you are looking for will be there. Look under setting, the higher the dpi, the longer it takes to generate an image. Try various settings and see if you can't speed up the process

You'r pc., must be saturated with photos or trash that you can throw away or still better, put them in an envelope!!
