the sting song is about Mr Pinochet some president, it think it goes
dancing with the missing\dancing with the dead
dancing with the invisable one , their anguish is unsaid And repeats.
i think its about a war in those slav contries i really don't know.

it's called "They Dance Alone" about unrest in Chile, this song is so sad to me!!

"Dancing with their fathers, dancing with their sons, dancing with their husbands, they dance alone...." Ah, kills me!

Sting wrote this after he saw a brief news story about women dancing in the streets of Chile torn apart by the Pinochet regime. The women were dancing in the streets with pictures of their husbands, fathers, brothers or sons pinned to their clothes or they were holding the pictures and dancing with them.
