Amitabh Bachchan is an excellent actor. He can play any role he wants. The question is more, whether his fans will allow him to play a role like Gabar Singh. Can his fans lose themselves in his character? I hope so because Big B is great and deserves a chance to do different things.

no i guess no one can replace Amjad. he set a mark and even the legend can't beat it. Well he may create his own, bt what Amjad did left many gens to remember him for that . So i think amitabh is never gonna get the same applaud as Amjad got

i dont think amitabh will live up to the role of gabbar because the former gabbar i.e. amjad khan had a different aura altogether and he only fits the bill.
