Nail bombs. Used by many terrorist groups.
Placed in a school hall, when the bomb went off hundreds of sharp nails would rake the children. Most would die before the day was up, others would perish before the night was out.
If you were there, would you really need to ask about "real" weapons?

If you mean fingernails the answer is yes when I was younger I used mine against my two sisters and a couple of girls in jr high school
