I don't know about a meal but I would take them for a tour of the guiness factory and have a pint at the bar at the very top, I think they would appreciate that more!

There used to be a lovely Italian place just off Dame Street (on the Temple Bar side) called La Mezza Luna. Their sea food dishes are delicious. Haven't been to Dublin in a year or so, Dubliners is it still there?

There are a few nice places in the Parliament Street/Dame Street area.
Also, Gotham City Cafe on South Anne Street (off Grafton Street) is pretty good.

The Mermaid Cafe, on Dame Street. Quality food, nice atmosphere, and close to lots of great bars for the after-dinner entertainment. Have a nice time!
