Because they would not dare behave in such a manner if this were an actual conversation.
The social camouflage of a computer identity emboldens the innately idiotic to go for the gold medal of mental stupidity: the attempt at humor.

When you ask a question & continue below, idiots take it as a forced answer instead of a question. They are too imature to play the question & answer game. Most people are too dumb to read between the lines & some are just funning. Pay them no mind. They get 2 points, it costs you 5 points, but you get 3 points back & you pick up a point here & there for voting. Most importantly you find it takes all kinds to make the world go round.

Unless you deleted that question, I don't know what are you talking about.

I looked at your previous questions. With the topics you pick (opiates?) and with lack of the details you provide, I'm not surprised that people take it that way. When a question is asked without specifics, it is too hard to give you all possible angles of explanation because it will take too long. This is why people might feel like snapping at you sometimes. With this question, you might have provided a link to exactly what question are you talking about.

Long story short - ask better questions to get better answers.

That is but natural. The asker is always said to be unknowing. The one who answers is supposed to be on a higher pedestal and at least he presumes that he knows better than you. Hence the imperious tone. Bear with it. A necessary evil.

Speaking for myself, I am not closed minded. I am merely infinitely superior as the Answerer to any mere, pathetic Asker. You are such an idiot to expect humility and kindness.

to say a much used cliche, "there are bad apples in every barrel."

a lot of people everywhere like to create conflict, either because they are immature, they want attention, or they have some sort of grudge against people. thats my opinion.

just take those kinds of answers with a grain of salt... (sorry another cliche).
