yes, and what a disappointment that was, I think you can build up a picture in your mind that is so far from the reality that when you actually do get to experience the reality, it is always a disappointment. Suffice it to say the batteries were removed from the torch that night lol

I have carried a torch physically many times when camping or when my dad was working on the car.
But emotionally, i still carry a torch for a dear friend of mine. Although we will never ever be together, i still have a soft spot for him :-)

Yes on many occasions. Last week we lost power during a storm for about 3 hours. My grandson (age 10) and I made torches and went outside and just sat in the swing on the back porch.

That wood be yes. Lola! And then, it was to return the favor of some-one who did once carried the torch for me, think it was about to break this tiny pimple on one o'me eyelids. Tuff and painful just talkin' bout it.

Carrying one right now:too enlighten the path to my house for my lover.Ain't that sweet?And it's a long path:from Brazil to Holland.
So I use huge torches:they last longer.
