you are probably suffering from a condition known as reflux. This is where the valve at the top of your stomach is not working effectively, and is allowing acid to escape, leading to a burning sensation in your chest.

Some things that might help are avoiding spicy and fatty foods, eating smaller meals, and not eating before retiring at night.

If you are overweight this could have a bearing on your problem. Ask yourself why you are overweight. What kind of foods do you eat. There is your answer, heart burn is generally caused by certain goods that cause an over abundance of acid, this is especially the fact on foods with a high fat content. Eat healthy - plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit, fish and white meat - be healthy.
Hiatus hernias can also cause heart burn like sensations but this too is affected by what you eat, again fatty foods most likely.

hi there this is more than likely to do with youre diet ......are you eating fried food or spicey food ?? or even take away food ?? well if you stop eating those foods and change youre diet to more fresh fruit and lots of veg oh and by the way fizzy juice will not help heart burn there is to much acid being made in youre stomach and you need to reduce that by eating the foods that ive suggested ........i suffer from this and it aint no fun but boring foods do make things better .....trust me

Sounds like you have acid reflux. I have that also. You can buy zantac over the counter and that should help.
