Okay so I was walking my pug a few months ago * I found a Nintendogs cartridge laying on the sidewalk....it goes to a Nintendo DS. So what Im asking is this, is the Nintendo DS a good handheld game system?? I was thinking I might ask for one for Christmas you know to go w my found game but they cost about $130.00 so I was curious if they are worth it...the game advertisements look REALLY cute! Is the game a good game too? Is it as fun/cute as it looks? Alos does it have good games that my 11 year old would like??? Oh yeah one more thing, is there a SIMS game available for the DS?? Thanks so much in advance!

We have 2 here at our house and we love them. Try this website and they'll show you all the games available. Definitely worth it.

Nintendo Ds is an excellent console with a great touch Screen function for gaming and other console functions. A 11 year old would love it as its primarily based for that age group all those any age group would love it with its wide range of game genre. Yes Sims is available on the Ds and I've heard its quite good for a hand held console.

Ok, firstly, Nintendogs isn't a good enough game to warrant buying the system. See if you can borrow one from a friend if you want to try the game, but you'll get bored within a couple weeks and if you can't find any other games you like, you're out $130. So look around and see if there's anything else you're going to enjoy. Secondly, get the DS Lite when and if you do, as it's smaller, lighter, brighter, and the stylus is a bit more comfortable to hold. Good luck!
