Usually, either to landfill to be buried, or to an incinerator to be burned. It depends on the locality.

Well, once its collected its placed on barges then are transported to places to be used as landfill.

Such things as glass, paper, and plastic can be recycled and used over again.

sometimes it goes and gets dumped in the ocean and others landfills and incinerators. some stuff is recylced and some is just dumped wherever

dump/landfill/incinerator. If there are recyclables that have been seperated, they may go to a recycling plant.
