Yes, I do sometimes, to see what they may have left out, or to see how true to the story is as com paired to the movie. But the MAIN reason, is because I want to see what the real people looked like. Something that drives me crazy!
I know it sounds a little nuts, but even back when "quantum leap", used to be on, if I missed the part where they showed who he was leaping into, I just couldn't get in to it!

Yea I do sometimes. Especially the really compelling stories. cos the movies never quite gets the whole story, so i like to get all the facts before I comment on the effect of the film. besides, its always better to check up on Hollywood. just to be sure that they havent distorted the truth.

Absolutely. Why do you think I'm online right now? I just got back from seeing "Flags of our Fathers."
I like to know the real facts, see how the casting and costuming compares to the real life people - and discover what was left out. Also, personally, I'm a more visual learner, so I like to read to comprehend.
And lastly, I'm a total pain in the neck in looking anything up online! God forbid you ask me for a bit of movie trivia or a recipe. Thank heaven for the wi-fi!

It depends on whether the story is a gripping one, if so, I too would research the facts on the internet to answer certain questions that I might have in my mind.

I do that on occasion, the worst was Saving Private Ryan, I got totally obsessed with WWII and ended up reading like 5 different books about it. I'm very curious by nature.
