You hit the nail on the head, it grates. Too bad she conned a huge wad of dosh out of the television audience before most people clued into her act. Was funny watching her husband's irritation with her grow over the series... not that I watched it ever. Just saw bits and pieces.

While the "dumb blonde" act insults and well as aggravates me, I have to admit that watching the Newly Weds gave me some enjoyment, and I'll tell you why. Watching the show, and witnessing the moronic antics of that counterfeit blonde only solidified my opinion that no self respecting guy would stick around one moment longer than it took to get in her pants!
Yes, she's attractive. She has a nice body. But honestly guys; could you stand yourself in the morning if you had to put up with her grade-school demeanor for any length of time? I didn't think so?
What kills me though is that she's influencing all these girls to think that if they act like bobble-heads guys will like them! Wake up! Being stupid and wearing slutty clothes is not the way to go. It makes you the kind of girl that guys will line around the street to have sex with, but the kind of girl they would never take home to Mommy.

For the life of me, I just do not understand what is attractive about the whole stupidity act. As a lesbian and intelligent female I'd sure like to find a partner with a brain. And you would think others would agree but then this leads me to the stupidity that fills the minds of many men and why I'm a lesbian in the first place.

that case point clearly proved your point. buffalo dont even have wings! i dont think a man thinks its cute i think they like it bc they get to seem the intelligent one in the relationship. it massages their ego along with the fact they're normally pretty girls, however it backfires bc the man ends up looking stupid by being with a stupid girl, he cant be that intelligent to stay with her in the first place and people just end up laughing at him and not her. but if men are that shallow to go for that type of girl then they deserve all the misery they get.

I figure they'll end up with the guys they deserve, but I have to say, too, that every time a girl or woman does this she does a disservice to her own gender and underestimates the character and intelligence of a lot of men as well

Ok. That doesn't bother me at all.
Sorry to disappoint you but you'll be seeing more of that. But don't worry, you'll get used to it and you won't be annoyed anymore... you will just be chuckling and be shaking your head about it instead.
I'd recommend for you to be entertained rather than be annoyed. It will do you no good. And you will never know if it's actually real or just an act anyway.

Guess Nick finally saw through it.
God help those girls when they start to age and their looks don't cut it with the stupid act.

Yeah, they annoy me too. It is possible to be cute and not have to be an idiot. Jessica Simpson is dumb because her real dad is Homer Simpson. Well thats just MY theory.

i recommend you try the same.
maybe if they get really bad ratings - the TV people will actually put something better on. (even DR. plastic if more interesting..)
