He was intoxicated while driving (one law broken)
He was driving the car and left the scene of an accident (second law broken)
Someone died because of his actions while driving (third law broken)
Didn't report the (crime) accident till later in the day (fourth law broken)
Sounds like one upstanding citizen to me.
I'd rather go hunting with Cheney than ride in a car with Kennedy......

The poor guy lost his head after an accident. He did not commit murder, he just acted stupidly. Probably due to alcohol or drugs, or whatever he did not know where he was until it was too late. Of course, baing a Kennedy did not help. Not one bit.

I don't think so, I believe his biggest crime was being a Kennedy, and the big heads of our nation were intimidated by anyone who was financially able to function with-out any help from those in power. What do you think?

it was an accident she was a goner anyway he was lucky too get out of the car his self just cause he didnt walk away a hero that day doesn't make him a coward! he has gone on to serve both his constituency and this great nation with honor and dignity he is one of my favorite senators

No he had an accident an d freaked out.Judge not least you be judged.we all make mistakes. maybe if you were in his place you might have freaked.you never know.BUSH is the MURDERER

He was loaded, he didn't mean for his mistress to die an agonizing death. I'm sure he would have saved her from drowning if he wasn't wasted
