Good and bad?

From a European look and also a musician for a long time now..
I'd rather watch Idols or X-factor.. Eurovision Song Contest contest looks to me as if it's not even about music but about politics..
And the sort of music..it sounds like the music evolution has stopped in that show it all sounds the same for decades now!
At the other hand some of my country's candidates are doing just fine now and making more money and become more famous because of the festival..

From an Aussie's point of view (and we can't enter Eurovision), it's so bad, it's good. I haven't missed a telecast in over 10 years. It's sort of like a car crash....you know you shouldn't look, but you can't help yourself.
