What could be worst than watching inbred rednecks drive slow cars in circles for hours? I dont understand. Now, formula one that's a real racing sport, they have the fastest cars in the world, comparing a nascar to a formula one car is like comparing a pick up truck to a ferrari. Also, in formula one there are actual "turns" a lot of them: apex, hairpins, chicans, sweepers, and plenty of 180 degree turns that few racers can master. only the best drivers from all over the world compete (not just the southern usa), there is no way any nascar driver can drive a formula one car, this sport actually requires talent. Anyway just want to know what southerners see in such a dull race?

as for deb, i am an american, and i am just saying i would rather watch the best drivers in the world compete, not just the best drivers in the south. and formula doesnt just have italians, they have the best drivers from the world and yes that includes your beloved country america, other countries: japan, brazil, colombia, uk, sweden, germany, canada, and many more.

mr2fiz, no idont watch cricket or soccer, so i don't know what you are talking about. and yes drivers do pass each other in formula one and hardly ever finish the race in the place they qualified. you have said nothing to defend nascar, only try to attack another racing league , you are probablly one of the inbred low IQfans, and have absoluttley nothing important tosay? i am just asking what fans like in nascar.

I have no idea......anything that a fat 53 year old redneck can do for 3 hours should not be considered a sport.

I can't understand why someone would want to trash another persons interests. Just because you do not like NASCAR (or anything for that matter) doesn't mean others aren't interested. You sound very narrow minded to me.

I personally think F1 races are boring. After the first few laps there are very few passes for position on the track. Sure, the cars are incredible, but the racing isn't that great.

To each their own I suppose, but coming on here and bashing is really silly. If you don't like it, don't watch it. That's what I choose to do with things that I don't find appealing.

F-1 sucks. What's so great about the whole field finishing the race in the order that they qualified for the race? Big deal, there's no passing so that would mean that qualifying is better than the race! Chumps like you probably also watch golf, cricket, and soccer! Stupid azz! A better question might have been, Why do they allow such dumb azz questions from morons!?

I inform you what, get on your automobile on a a hundred degree day, roll up the domicile windows, turn on the warmth, & then rigidity around for 4 to 5 hrs. Now please do no longer forget which you do no longer might desire to handle going one hundred eighty + mph with 40 two different automobiles all around you doing a similar concern (do you even comprehend how lots air is being displaced by way of a automobile going that quickly). Now i've got have been given a query for you: How come golf is seen a sport? Bacically each individual that could stroll can do it, merely pass to any united states club & watch all those old men play it. specific some people are great at it & some are undesirable yet all of them can play. Now in case you're saying that's a stupid comparision then how lots sillier is it to benefit somebody going a hundred mph (that's merely 25 to 30 mph above street speeds) on a street to somebody going one hundred eighty +? by way of the way please do no longer point out activities & ESPN jointly, the folk at ESPN think of that poker & warm canines eating contest are the two activities.

they call golf a sport and they chase a little white ball around and thats after they hit it....wow I am not a southerner and I think that Nascar is more interesting....it has people from the U.S. racing not people from Italy and such, theses are just real American men having fun at something they like to do. I would like to see you drive theses and keep them on the track or out of someones rear end...you like what you like and we like what we like...we can't all like the same thing now can we?

The same reason golf is.The only way you could make any auto racing a sport is to have them do it in rush hour traffic.
The only way golf would be a sport is if you had the other golfers throw golf balls at you when you're trying to hit the ball.

i prefer pro stock drag racing, but i can agree with the nascar thing. that has to be about the most pointless sport out there right no, besides soccer, and the most boring. all the retarted indians and hillbillies around here just blow loads to it, makes me want to puke or start a 6th reich.
