I think it truly depends on the situation. If you have both expressed that it will be a monogamous relationship. Be carefull, and keep your eyes wide open! In my opinion I would say yes, once a cheat always one. I know this from experience an 11 year marriage. I kept forgiving and the kept swearing it was a one time thing. I guess he meant one time with just about anyone who was willing. Always go with your gut feeling,if it feels like something is up or not right, it's probably true.

Well, many people will disagree with me, but I believe that since people cheat for so many different reasons, it's over-simplifying to say "once a cheat, always a cheat." A person can live to regret the decisions they make, and opt to make better ones.

Yes, I had a g/f that admitted cheating on an earlier b/f. Two years later I got the same treatment.
Some people have fewer morals than others whether it's cheating, stealing, lying etc

if there was an real answer to this question, then there would be a way to prevent it. unfortunately, there is no answer. people cheat for a billion different reasons. not most uncommonly because of being attracted to another person. there is always someone else out there who is more attractive than the one you are with. especially in this day and age of wonder bras, fake titties, surgeries, hair removal, better make up, fat free food, ect... people, in general, are more attractive now then ever before and it makes it so much harder to stay attracted to just one person. i am not a big fan of this, but what can you do?

I don't believe in that. It just depends on each person. Sometimes a cheat is always a cheat up until they find someone they really love...it makes them change. Then there are those that never change...it all depends.

Yes. Once a cheat always a cheat. If i had a dollar for every time my ex - boyfriend cheated on me, I'd never have to work again.

If I say yes, it makes me as shallow as a Frog Pond in August. ok..what's the secret you guys are hiding, eh? Ever hear once a thief.....? ok, all you thieves, yes, you, ever swipe a pen from work? some paper for your printer, in the ol' briefcase? tape? a tool from a job, or maybe a faucet? ever grab a cookie from a plate not meant 4 u? Not stealing, say you, then what? Point is, people change, if they didn't learn from life's lessons, we would all be living in caves eating raw meat. Or, do all of you still steal, hmm? I sure don't............anymore
