There's something endearing in Fantastic Four's The Thing. It makes you want to say "It's clobberin' time!"

You can tell the non-comic readers on this question. Wolverine?? Sorry people he's not a 'strong guy', think Hulk or Thing, characters who's main ability is extreme strength.
For me it always been the Juggernaut, the comic version not the hacked up, ruined version in X3.

bane from batman, the man who broke the bat. he wasnt just a natural killer he grew up in prison serving his fathers time. his first kill was at age 8. not only being incredibly strong he was actually incredibly smart in the comics and wasnt always a badguy, at one point tried to get all the drug dealers out of his country.

SPIDER-MAN is definitely my favorite comic book strong guy. He uses the combination of strength and weakness and forms them into one sexy package, just like a TIGER.
