Man is not destroying the earth, he's destroying himself. The earth will be here long after all men are gone and it probably will remember us like we remember an embarrassing pimple in 9th grade. It was there for just long enough to be embarrassing, then it exploded and disappeared.
Since man is a part of the animal kingdom, I'm saying this one is a toss-up.

Humans ARE animals! EVERY animal has some effects on the environment around it. The environment has never been some stable, static thing. It is always in flux, always changing and adjusting and re-adjusting and evolving. The "balance of nature" is a myth. It has never existed.
When a horde of bats dumps so much guano in a cave as to make it uninhabitable for other animals, are they being evil?
When a predator catches & eats the very last member of some species, causing it to go extinct, should it feel guilty?
When a beaver dam floods the surrounding prairie, drowning rodents and driving out other animals, are they "destroying the Earth?"
When an invasive plant species, with no help from man, enters a new ecological niche and drives out the previously native plant life, is this a bad thing?
When a plague of termites or other plant-eating insect decimates a forest, are they being an affront to nature?
You might say that humans do all these things to a greater extent than other animals, but the difference is quantitative, not qualitative. Humans ARE unique in that we are the only animal capable of feeling guilt for its actions, or of feeling compassion for other species (even sometimes above that we show to our own).
The religion of environmentalism dictates that humans are both separate from nature, and an affront to it. But we are neither. We are just as much a part of nature as the other species. "Mother Nature" is a man-made concept; nature cares nothing for the fate of ANY species.
So given those qualities that DO separate us from the other animals--intelligence, and the ability to not live short, brutish lives--I would have to say that it is we humans who are better. Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear.

God Created man to have Dominion over animals. A man has a Soul and an animal doesn't. The reason man as done so wrong with the world or plant earth is because there is a sin nature in him. This sin nature causes man to do some really stupid things. Animals however live on instinct. They only eat what they need and only use what they can at that time. I think if you were to narrow your question down it might be better answered.

Since man was once an animal than this is difficult to answer. If not us it may as well been pigs that evolved to the position we hold. Even animals destroy their environments if not monitored closely. Nothing is as perfect as it seems. As far as destroying the planet, hide and watch. She'll be here long after we're fossils being discovered by over educated cockroaches in the next ruling society.

The man was made by God with much attention from the animal! The man had intelligence, but nowadays he is the same as the animals! He has lost his mind, he treat very weird and destroy everything in the world! Thats why he is going to be punished! I think they are both the same thing!

for your own convenience , you are classifying the world into just two groups......man and animal. What we overlook is the fact that there are as many varieties of animals as there are varieties of humans. And not all of them are the most intelligent,on both the sides.
The difference that I see is that in the fitness of things and in the grandoise plan of the universe the animals play their assigned role perfectly, whatever the explanation.... programmed, instinct you name it. They stick to their cut out job. I am yet to find a strong elephant seeking to increase its lifespan. Whatmore , after it attains a certain age it drifts alone into the forest awaiting the inevitable.
The intelligent man is challenging everything in the universe . And after finding more and nore , he comes to the inevitable point of accepting that what he is attempting to find out was not correct afterall.
This challenging mind , over the unchallenging minds of the animals, is good. But it is to be put to better use. Like your Nuclear energy.Like your greenhouse. Like a clay. a clay will be a clay for the animals. But different men will see different things in that inert clay. An object of art. A brick. . A pot.

Neither can swap their places, although man knows that he evolved from an animal. The animal does not know that from his tribe, men have evolved. The animals may not be knowing that man is different from them. For them, perhaps, man is one other predator, who is out to catch and kill them. These questions are hypothetical or philosophical to show our resentment at the way the human beings have progressed and the way he is working for his own destruction. So be it. The point is well understood.

Man may be an animal that has some ability and brains but we are still just another animal. We are all in the same boat on that front.

I vote animal. The only reason an animal usually kills is to feed or protect itself. They don't go around trying to push their beliefs on other animals.
