Every time I have used google, I have found it more effective than microsoft. I have searched for specific things on microsoft and gotten unsatisfatory answers and tried the same search on google and have had much more accurate results. The results on it are much closer to what I am looking for.

I think google can beat microsoft live easily.
Firstly, Live is not well known. If you ask anyone, they will tell you they haven't heard of Live at all. On the other hand, Google is used by everyone. If they are not using Google, they are using yahoo!
Secondly, Live does not look attractive at all and I don't think it is user-friendly. And there is a lot of limitations using Live.
Thirdly, I can basically use Google to search for anything from website, scholar reference, image (and now even for video clip from youtube). Google is just GREAT!
So, I don't think Live will last long... or I should say Google will not be beated!

google has a good chance of beating both of microsoft and yahoo on internet services due to its recent aquisitions and transformations.

my view is no body can match the google. my opinion is google is the best.
