There's a term in psychology called "co-dependency" when two people feed off each other's weaknesses. I have afeeling that's what's happening here. I'd say they're pretty much both to blame for an unhealthy relationship.

From what I have gathered Whitney started taking drugs when she was with Bobby Brown, okay maybe he was partly to blame. However they have divorced a few years now so there is no reason for her to be taking drugs and if she did then it certainly had nothing to do with Bobby Brown as he was not encouraging her or forcing her to take them. So I think the blame should be laid at Whitney's door, I was sorry to hear of her death as in her hey day she was a great singer.

Well I think they are both at fault and Whitney tried ..but was not successful and of coarse she became depressed.. because Bobby wouldnt change so she kinda took the saying to heart,, if you cant beat them join them and she did...

The real one at fault here is Osama Bin Laden.
He's had his eye on Whitney for a long time. They were forced to separate so Bobby wouldn't be killed by Bin Laden's men.

Bobby Brown was Whitney's fault for joining him in everything including the drugs. She was in love....
