i am getting a land on lease for 25 years. i need to know the best tree that i can plant to earn maximum from its timber sale. i will appreciate if i can have any contacts who can be of help to me in this project. I will have to buy plants. Irrigation system and forest management help.The area is in pakistan tropical climate.

call the department of primary industries or forestry as its their job to figure this sort of thing out for your area.

I have seen the wrong trees planted and after 10 years, they were only half the size, stunted and full of knots.

the wrong tree can be an expensive mistake

Check with your local State Extension office or Agriculture Dept., there may be some grant money available too.

you may want to also contact buyers of wood, and possibly contract the sale of your product before planting.

In the usa, black walnut is very valuable in temperate areas, in the desert southwest, saguaro cactus can generate 3 million dollars per acre in 25 years.
