.God is my creator & master. Jesus, "the son of God" is my Savior. When I was baptised into the blood of Christ I was given the gift of the Holy Spirit to translate me to God, because God cannot look upon man. Where I live on this earth makes no difference to my relationship with the allmighty undeniable God.

I am a Christian first. But don't forget that 98% of the founders of the USA were professing Christians. The Mayflower Compact was a contract between Christians and God. The Declaration of Independence was a letter to King George citing 27 violations of Holy Scripture. The most often quoted authority in the Constitutional Convention was the Bible. The Constitutions of the original 13 states always mentioned God and or Jesus Christ. There's tons more about the USA being a Christian Nation, but you get the picture.

Yes, I do understand that I am American, have grown up in an American experience, and that I have spent most of my life here, but in the most important ways, I don't feel I am an American, as much as I don't feel I am German, even though I've lived there for a while.

*stroking goatee*

I serve no master but truth, equality and justice.

To the extent my notions of morality comport with Christianity, then I support Christianity. To the extent America returns to its ideals of old, then I will be proud of my American citizenship.

For now.. I am just a man, devoted to none but righteousness.

I am only an American. I believe the Bible is fabricated. I don't believe the story of Noah's Ark and other stories. I have respect for religion because a good Americans must. I believe the US Constitution is near perfect.
