I'm looking for the title on a story i read when i was in middle school. It was about a little girl that was born deaf and blind and a teacher was brought in to help her. We read the story and the teacher then showed us the video. The video was black and white. I'm trying to find all the old stories that where converted into movies. Please if you guys remember any it would be great! I found to kill a mocking bird by hitchcock.

Yes, it is the Helen Keller story. The original movie is called "The Miracle Worker" and starred Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke. Many years later it was remade with Patty Duke starring as the teacher and Melissa Gilbert at Helen Keller.

I also would say the answer is Helen Keller, only she was not born blind or deaf. When she was two or three she became deathly sick with small pox and this rendered her deaf and blind.
