Mulatto is a mixture of several races. Generally African Blks and Caucasians of different nationalities. The Caribbean blks are not indigenous people but descendants of African slaves brought over to work sugar plantations etc. after the native people were killed out or reduced in numbers as to not being able to supply the work force needed.
