Freud said long ago that human beings have an inborn desire/need to not only destroy ourselves but also each other and everything around us. We are a self-destructive race and will never be happy or content with anything we achieve or are given.

In the same way as our world is subject to the law of gravity, it is also subject to the law of destruction. Think about it, if you put a bad apple amongst good apples, what happens? the rest of the apples go bad. And if you put a good apple amongst bad apples, does it make them go good??? NO. it will also go bad. From the moment anything is born, or created or whatever, it begins to deteriorate, and it will continue to do so until it dies. This not only applies physically, but mentally and spiritually. Over the decades, humans as a race have deteriorated. Although we become more and more advanced, our life span, our morals etc have gotten less and less. And, its only natural that an overpopulated earth will war with itself. We fight for territory, food, authority, its a basic suvival instinct to compete to the death with those threatening our own survival. But funny how it applies on earth only... Theres a survey done on astronauts that notes that no matter what age, race, or sex they are, they get out of the earth's atmosphere and are overcome with total peace. their anger and worry etc just dissapear, and they feel no animosity towards one another whatsoever... Makes you wonder doesnt it?

Psychology or religion topics can better opine on the nature of humankind.
If you've read anything about the conditions in Iraq, (washingtonpost.com is a good source for reports from outside the Green Zone), you're aware of how bad living conditions can be when there is no government. It's a Hobbesian state of nature. An Iraqi was quoted as saying that you know there's no government when they can't even pick up the bodies laying in the street.

I believe that being disctructive is not basic human nature, but that it is a reflection, reaction to something much deeper inside. I gues that distructive people might be in great pain for so many different things, maybe they need support, safity, encourigment, love, etc. Still I do not encourrige their behavious.
I also sugest to read personal stories on www.cnvc.org . They describe these things much better.

Greed...Money...Envy... Fanatism ...and not only against each other!!! You forgot the other living beings also. We want to be the happiest, the most richest person on earth. To achieve this goal, we think only of ourselves. We wantonly ourselves to be happy and prosperous. For that we do all these bad things. We have forgotten that the truest and most fulfilling happiness comes in helping others and living for others...

Destrudo, or Destrado, is the energy of the destructive impulse. It is the opposite of libido. While libido is the urge to create, an energy that arises from the Eros (or "life") drive, destrudo is the urge to destroy both oneself and everything else. Destrudo arises from the Thanatos drive, which also is the source of aggression, and death (in Greek mythology, Thanatos is the god of death).
Destrudo is a lesser-known life force, and is usually ignored in place of more well-known and well-defined theories of human emotion. Destrudo can be traced to Sigmund Freud's attempt to explain the actions of soldiers in World War I.

Proverbs aside, you've an outstanding element. it is asserted that a pair operating mutually interior of a similar employment is certain disaster. possibly the context of teamwork is unfavorable to the context of mutual romance. besides, truly some situations roomates who were perfect acquaintances replace in course of one yet another after residing with one yet another, which shows me that kinfolk truly endures plenty and actually compensates for the shortcomings of one yet another. it would want to also be utilized to a wedding ceremony, yet now and again that element spent mutually somewhat makes the couple like one yet another extra.
