They are like in their 70's dude. You seriously have problems if you think there isn't a rock band out there today doing better stuff than their recent stuff. I agree that they are one of the greatest rock bands ever, no doubt about it! But defiently they do not even touch some bands in the present moment. Some Stones albums measure up to any album ever for sure, but not there most recent stuff.

Who the Bleep said they were the greatest rock band ever? They are ok. They were much better in the 60's. They make their money touring. They don't have the big numbers in record sales like they did in the 60's and early 70's. That's the facts! You want good hard drivin and pure rock & roll? Then AC/DC is the band!

They're legendary. But around the time they blew up with the British Invasion, the Beatles rocked more than Jagger could have ever hoped. They have made some great music over the years. But other bands over the years which have superseded them include: The Eagles, Queen, the Police, U2, and Red Hot Chili Peppers

they were not, they are not and they will no be the greatest.
Maybe third-fourth best after Beatles, ELO, Queen and Slade.
Well yeah, they were really good, when there was that genius Brian Jones, but after his death they started to fade, decline.
They had very few hits in the eighties (2dn half of seventies, nineties as well) and today they still live from the past !!
I like them more than Pink Floyd or the Who tough.
