Do you get your way with the favorite parent or do you favor them because you can talk to them, or is there another reason?

Both my parents are awesome. It took both of them to make me who I am today, and since I like me, I guess they both did a good job. Nobody is perfect, but they were loving and always put their children's needs ahead of their own. I was truly blessed!

My step-father is my favorite parent I can talk to him and get my way. He has done more for me than my real father ever has, and I can't talk to my mom because she finds my problems insignificant and beneath her to give advice on. She also has a racist spirit and dislikes the fact that I'm engaged to a white guy and doesn't see how happy I am, but my step-father does and is happy for me no matter if he was Freaking purple! Okay sorry went off on a little tangent. Anyway I love my stepfather he's my favorite!

I would have to say my dad. My mom was a complete jerk and didn't really do anything for us growing up. She was the one to swing the belt and go with the abuse. My dad was laid back and did the good parenting. Even now being 26 I love my dad more than my mom. I can call my dad for anything and he would drop everything in a heart beat and when he makes me mad he buys my affection.

I am a daddy's little girl. I am more open with my father because he is more understanding than my mother. I always envied girls who were close to their mothers. My mother for some reason became defensive as soon as I turned 16. She became way over protective to the point I thought she was jealous of my youth. My father treated me the same no matter what age I turned and I love him so much to this day. I still love my mother just as much as my father, but my relationships with them are different.

I don't have a favorite parent; I love them both equally. I'm pretty good at getting my way with both ... I've lived long enough to have trained them and figured them out!

My mom never did the things to me that my father did.. so I'm going to say my mother. Although they both weren't very good parents to begin with.

my mom, cuz my dad is an asshole who has to be forced to spend time with me and my sisters and brother or to even call to see how his grandkids are doing!
