THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO KEEP HER HAPPY, SHE JUST LOST HER MOM. LET HER MOURN, BE THERE FOR HER WHEN SHE NEEDS A SHOULDER, BE THERE FOR HER WHEN SHE NEEDS A LAUGH AND MOST OF ALL, BE THERE FOR HER BY LETTING HER KNOW THAT LIFE STILL CONTINUES. I JUST LOST MY MOM, I FEEL HER PAIN...UNFORTUNATELY, MY MOM WAS MY BEST FRIEND.

Like everyone else says, be there for her. One thing that most people seem to over look is that when a loved one passes away, we are constantly reminded of them and its very hard to deal with at first(if ever for some)until some time passes. Usually we manage to find ways to deal with the grief. Anniversaries of their death, birth, holidays etc. all tend to bring back the pain of losing someone close to us. I tell you this from personal experience, having lost my mother last year on Halloween. It still hurts very much and I deal with it in private every single day. Nights are the worst for me. I was finally able to come to grips with things long enough to see that my mother is much better off. She is no longer in pain and has no more worries. My deepest, sympathy on your girlfriends loss. You are very kind to consider her feelings so much she will need all the help you can provide if they had a close relationship. Good Luck. Peace2U2.

what a sweet boy. Be there, that helps.

Keep her occupied with sports too is great for overall too. (That is if she is a sporty woman.)
