I have lived just 2 hrs north of "The Golden Gate" for about 35 years and I figure at an average of 5 trips back or forth for 35 yrs, I have crossed it about 175 times.

How about you???

It is a wonderful site to see (even on a foggy day such as today was).

I lived in the Bay Area from 1985-2000 and probably went over the bridge 3 or 4 hundred times. I grew up in Sacramento and used to go to SF with my folks and then to Marin to visit relatives, so add in another 50 tmes or so for that. I'd say I have crossed the bridge at least 400 times in my life, maybe more.

I'm in the north bay area, but if I have to go into the city, we take the Bay Bridge. It's handier. But the Golden Gate is really beautiful, I've crossed it 2 or 3 times. I only personally drove over it once.

I was surprised at how easy it was to navigate around SF.

I stayed in San Francisco last year from November 23 to December 29. I spend Thanksgiving and Christmas there. I had seen the bridge at least 3x. The view at night is also nice when you park at a distance.

I have been over it 3 times, just like in my dreams, it felt unbelieveable, coming from a visiter. I felt it, and it feels like steel! It's wounderful because you get a great vie w of the rest of the City and Vacillio, or what it's called.

if you ever been in googleearth, you can go over the bridge as many times as you can imagine.

I've never been over it, but I'd like to. I live in Indiana so, chances are, I'll never get to. =(
