He claim the only reason he my friend is because he want some ***. I keep trying to assure him nothing going on but he wont have it. I don't want to lose him but at the same time I don't want to lose my best friend. what should I do...I ask my mom, but she doesn't like my boyfriend one bit and tell me to kick him to the curd, but I want another opinion. so if anyone can help, I will greatly appreciated it. sorry for grammar or spelling this may have.

thanks for the fast feedback, I thought the same thing, but I asked another friend of my and she said I was in the wrong...but I thinking no I'm not. Because I carry myself with a lot of class... I don't sleep around and don't cheat because I do that for me not my boyfriend because I think it gross. And I tell him over and over I'm not doing anything....and I tell him he have a lot of nerve because he use to cheat on all his girlfriend...making me very specital(I don't think I spell that right.) what make me so difference. I think it a guity consequence..my best friend is such a wonderful person, he there when I need him, when I need a shoulder to cry on, he there. I honest thank god allowing him in my life. I'm thinking as much as I care for my boyfriend, my best friend mean more to me.

Do not end your friendship with your best friend. There is not reason for it. Your boyfriend does not have the right to ask you to do this. If your boyfriend truly cares about you, he would not want you to lose your best friend. In this case your mom is right-kick him to the curb. You deserve better than this.

Nobody that truly cares about you will ask you to end a relationship with someone else who cares about you. But people who intend to be controlling with you will try to isolate you from the people that care so they can more easily push you around without interference from anyone.

Your Mom is right. Kick him to the curb and don't look back.

Mother always knows best---trust me on that. It sounds like your boyfreind is jealous of what you have with your bestfreind and is trying to isolate you (first it's your best freind, then it'll be other friends, then it'll be some family...) Get out now before he turns into a control freak. wish you the best.

Dump the boyfriend and keep the friend. This boyfriend is already trying to dictate to you and control your life. If you stay together he will continue to be jealous of whoever you talk to.

Your boyfriend is jealous, you shouldn't end your friendship to make him happy. If he can't trust you, it's his problem, but maybe you should analyze whether or not you want to be with someone who wants to control you and doesn't trust you to have male friends.

No man is worth losing your friend over. Now he's telling you to get rid of your friend, that's a sign that he's to controlling and it will only get worse.

don't lose your best friend because your boyfriend is insecure....if he cares for you he would'nt feel intimidated by you having a friend...listen to your mother, he sounds like a loser..... good luck..
