The box that popped up was from my
virus protecter. It works good. I scanned it
after I got rid of it. All gone.
I have 2 pop up blockers on, and seldom
recieve pop ups that I would delete anyway.

You can report it to the web master of that page.If you scroll down to the bottom of that page it should say webmaster, but that would mean you would have to go back there again.

Did your anti-virus program itself tell you that you had a virus, or did some other pop up appear?
Maybe it was just an advertisement pop-up.
Some advertisements are like that. They'll pop up this PICTURE of a Window saying that you need to scan your computer or something like that.
NEVER click on advertisements. If you want more information about an advertisement, just Google search the company or product name and manually go to their web site.

As for reporting viruses, there's nobody to report to. If you're having a problem with a site, you should contact the site operator.

Some search links might take you to a web page and tries to download a malicious activeX control or some other program. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about that except examine the link text for anything suspicious.

If it was an advertisement just ignore it. :)

If it was YOUR virus protection going off, search for the site and copy down the domain without entering the site. Then do a whois on the domain and it should have a few forms of contact with the domain owner, including an email address.

unless it was a box from your virus scan software then it probably was just a ad trying to get you to buy some kind of software.
