A chart will be displayed in the board kept at the Platform few hours before the departure time of the train. You can check the seat number and coach number from that chart.

If ur reservation is confirmed it is mentioned on the tkt when u book ur tkt. If it RAC or WL u can see it only after the chart has been prepared which is done only 4hrs before the departure of the train. The chart is displayed in the platform and enquiry counter 1 hr before the scheduled departure of the train. U can alsolog on to the web and know the coach & seat num after the chart has been prepared.
