It's sounds like BOOMP or something like hitting an organ key but a more forceful sound, IDK how to describe it. It does that when the startup items are loading. He's using a Dell desktop and Windows XP Home.

Windows 98 plays a long single note during the booting up process. Windows XP (at least mine does) plays a short series of notes. If any of these notes are played then all is well. If there are one or more short sharp beeps, then theses are a signal in code of probable faults or problems - you would need to see the list of such warning beeps to know what they mean. Probably you have nothing to worry about!

It is a sound that he chose, for his start up sound. You can pick them in your 'control panel' in 'sound's'.
