Can you really have a good friendship with someone that lives in another country and who you probably will never meet?

Yes I do. I have many friends in other countries and I have never met them, and I find them to be very truthful.

it's really hard to get a net freind who live another country. the closeness i surely required to have a good friendship. and net does not allow to get close. but u may try to get one who will share his or her views to u. thus u can understand what is happening around the world.

Why not? Friendship will remain and it will never die. Online friendship can be a true friendship, as they possibly will be faithful friends.

yes,there are some younger people on here that are the total BOMB of BOMBS!my grandaughter lost her mom a few months back and theres things she can't talk to gramps about so,she comes on here.It just about makes me wanta cry when I see how the mothering instincts of complete strangers,who care,helps her through her problems,and the ones who act like Big Sister to her also hits me like bricks.I really just don't have the words to express the appreciation I have for all these wonderful people.But I thank god each and everyday for strangers who have become friends to a little girl who they only know through ramdom acts of kindness that have gone a long way in easing a hell of a lot of pain.

yes i really believe online friendships workout.do you why? well they will talk get to know each other .after while they will see each orther.but if they really want to work out they will have to move to a same place.they might getting marriage oneday

yah i have a couple friends that i've never met that i talk to regularly and we help each other out with lots of stuff plus it's they're just fun to chat to.
