You're at dilemma.
You lied about something and that's in the past, but now you feel guilty and want this feeling of uneasiness to go away. You're thinking about telling because that's the only way you can stop feeling guilty. Sorta like, the punishment fits the crime.
On the other hand, you're thinking not to tell him, but live the rest of your days keeping a secret from him. So what are you gonna do? It's a catch 22.
Coming from a dude, here's what we want and what we don't want from a significant other.
1. We don't want you to apologise and try to act this way or another, rather
2. we want you to be who you are and be... rather than act (see the difference)?
= conclusion, be honest to yourself, and don't suffer in silence. Figure out what each want and make a realistic agreement and don't drag it out.

Confess it, and explain why I was dishonest, sometimes lies are understandable. It's not possible to always tell the truth, some circumstances require lies, and I think most people understand that.

I've never lied to my husband, but he always lie to me, and when i confront him, he still lies. I hate people who lies, i guess i'm just too gullable, nice, and trustful. So people think they can take advantage of that. Well, its best to always tell the truth, cause then you wont have to live with guilt for the rest of your life.

tel them the truth and ask for forgiveness, the rest is up to them whether or not they want to work otu the relationship. i lied to my bf twice, about small things and im thankful he wants to be wth me still. he says he doesnt fully trust me anymore and i have accepted that after a big fight last week. he said he wil fully trust me again over time which made me happy to hear, (dont know how long it will be though) i hurt him and our relationship so im going to fix it =) and im going to do my best.

I lie to someone I love only for his best, I never lie to him for nothing or often. But when I lie to him I feel bad
