i was wondering why does chocolate kill animals?

It has theobromine in it which is a potent stimulant in dogs. The darker the chocolate, the more theobromine, therefore the more toxic. White chocolate is safe to give to dogs.

As a class of drugs, Methylated xanthines cause central nervous system (CNS) stimulation, diuresis (flushing of fluids through the body), cardiac (heart) muscle stimulation, & smooth muscle stimulation. Its not just small animals ALL animals can die from choc, just like they can from grapes and onions
