The earth is a sphere, so the only centre it has is the centre of the sphere, 4,000 miles directly below your feet. Any other definition of "centre" is going to be complely subjective. If you cut the earth down the middle of the Atlantic ocean and flatten it out, then find the centre, you'll get a completely different answer from if you cut it down the Pacific and flatten it out. It also depends on how you flatten it. So you really can't answer the question.

There is a small town called Felicity that is in southern California near the Arizona border that is "officially" the center of the earth. You can go there and stand on a metal plaque in a pyramid and stand on the center.

A few hundred million years ago, Antarctica was actually at the center (surface in terms of land) of the world until the continents drifted apart. There is no "center" of the earth, unless you are talking about its core, since earth rotates at about 11miles per second.

There is no country which is located at the centre of the globe. The g is dug deep into the globe, where there is no nation or life except for the molten lave. On the surface, it is difficult to say which country is in the centre, because earth is cylindrical in shape. In a globe, that Earth is, how can we determined the centre?

There is no such thing like the centre of the earth since earth is in the shape of a sphere. If you really want to go at the centre of the this sphere you must dig through the earth where it will be too hot. Ha Ha Ha!!!

Pinky, I think you are referring to the EQUATOR. Although, geographically this would be considered the center, the true center would be the earth's core.
