I think there are two reasons only, in self defence when she's hit him with something that could potentially kill him, and if he finds her in his bed with his best friend. What about you?

No, fruit snacks, that would be a reason to take thekids and leave, or kick her out, not hit her

i dont believe i would ever hit a woman ...i have walked in on an ex and a friend( not my best friend) i just walked back out of the room and when they where done i kicked her out and i stopped talking to him i just dont feel like going to jail over dumb stuff is worth it there are other fish in the sea i believe just be the better person and if a woman hit me with something then she can sit in jail why hit her so i can lose my freedom

I don't think that finding her in bed with his best friend is a good reason for hitting her. I do agree with the self defense reason though, but I think that's the only acceptable reason for a man to hit a woman.

If a person is being attacked by another person they are going to react in defense - no matter what gender they both are, that's just instinct. Other than that I think all people can demonstrate self control, even if they find their significant other in bed with their best friend

i don't think a man has any reason to hit a woman. if u r saying that he can hit in self defence--means that he is in a stronger position. ever thot of y she was hitting him in d 1st place. secondly, the fact that he is hitting--itself shows that it is not in self defence, he is the agressor, and deserves no sympathy.
the second point u make is about finiding his woman in bed with his best friend. well!! r u giving the same right to women?? in that case, do u have any idea about the quantum of violence u r unleashing?? if every woman had the right to hit a man whn she finds him in bed with a friend..................
i think u r just being nice to men. they don't deserve it, particulalrly if they feel the urge to hit, however mild the urge is.

Answer #1= If she is trying to hurt children or is evidently deranged to the point it's the onl;y way to control her.
If she reallt just wants to fight and refuses anything less than a knock down and drag out fight and there is abolutely no way for the man to leave of get away from it.
If she is ingaged in criminal activies and to hurt or hit her or even shoot her is the only option left as it is with a man also.
If they are in sport competation, and both know the rules and agre t them, but she refuses ot abode by them.(soem women in sports such as karate have shocen to try to hurt their competation to prove a point when only a contact touch or throw was enough).
I know of a guy in karate who was at one meet and his female opponent refuse dot stop trying to hurt him even refused ot admit she was defeated on points and went afte rhim. She ony wanted to prov eshe could whip a mans as. After taking more kicks and hits from her than anyone in the audience would he sent her to the hospital and she deserved it.).
But to hit or hurt a female jsut because you and not in self defense is pure cowardness in a man.

when the husband goes to the bar friday afterwork with some workers and the wife calls 20 plus times. The bartender then takes the phone off the hook.
the wife comes storming into the bar, yells at the bartender for the phone being busy.
then goes and yells at her husband playing pool with his friends...
i bartended in college.....so i have some good ones..
this one lady knew he husband went to the bar on friday afterwork with some co workers for a few.. so she started taking the two young kids to the bar... now that was sick....and when he refused to go home. she would storm out of the bar and leave the kids... but it was alright for her to go out with her friends.

Let's say a man breaks into the house and you shoot him dead. Then you find out he was just lost and confused. You slam your wife in the head a few times, blame it on the intruder and viola! Self defense. Dead men tell no stories, wife lies for you, life goes on as normal . Otherwise you need the corpse grinder. See my last answer for that.

In self defense or to protect her...ie push her out of the way of a vehicle headed toward her....all else --including adultery is unforgiveable.
