with people demanding (not asking) help with their homework and not even having the manners to thank people for their time?

yuika tetop - I have never helped anyone on the homework help section who simply demanded someone do their homework for them. I have given tips to people who have asked (nicely) for ideas and have told others demanding someone do their work for them, to do it themselves.

Particularly when they don't read the problem all the way through or post really simple problems because they are lazy.

Saw one tonight that must have been copied from an assignment given over the Internet, it has a reference to a previous question which was not included in the sloppy cut and paste.

yes and thats why i dont help them anymore. they are not really learning anyways they are in a way cheating, because they get the answers without thinking. i think it is cleaver. but for them not to even thank you thats just so rude and un thoughtful after all you did just give them an answer to their homework question.
i totally agree with you they do demand the answers and dont even ask niceley, it is so rude.....

Of course, stop helping them then. That way, they'll find a dead end when they cant find ur replacement. And the next time they ask you, they'll definately appreciate all the effort u put in to finish their homework because they'll finally understand how hard it is.

It is ridiculous. How are these young lazy a** kids going to learn to think for themselves and not rely on anyone else? You might give them a trick or two, but not a full answer..
