I was interested to see if anyone had reccommendations on a few good contemporary jazz artists that play in a more traditional style. To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, I'm a pretty big fan of Horace Silver, Miles Davis (esp. the album Kind of Blue), and while I haven't heard much, also enjoy Ike Quebec's music. I'm not really looking for the "big band" feel, just a smaller arrangement of musicians who can truly get the jazz feel out to come through in their compositions.
