Well, I'm a comic book artist, and trust me, the hardest part of writing a story settling on an idea that interest you the most. What are your likes and dislikes? Superheroes? Detective stories? Horror? It doesnt matter. If you really are pasionate about your idea, then it will definately reflect in your work. Now, as far as getting started with writing the story. You should try exactly that. START with the writing... then the sketches. Figure out what kind of story you want to do, then develope your characters and environments based on that. You can either go the boring route and draw out flow charts and diagrams to organize your ideas and storyline/dialouge. Or you can just have fun with it and be as random as the thoughts in your head. It doesnt have to make sense. It's YOUR story. It's YOUR world. The only person you have to please is yourself. If you spend your entire life trying to please everybody, you'll stress yourself out. Anyway, sorry for the long response. if you didnt like my advice you can always read up on it. Here is a couple good books that i found useful. ("Writing Comics the DC Way" and "Wizards how to draw" series. )

So you have the sketches. Now give each character some personality and a backstory. Not a 1-dimensional backstory - have some imagination, come up with something complex so you can slowly unravel them in later issues. Once you have that, the story will write itself. It's like flying in a dream - when you know how, when it works, it's that easy.

what sketches? the characters? or the scenes? well most important is to first choose your background for the story.. so that you would know the flow of your story.. well if you have so many lined-up stories, why not integrate them to make them as whole so that you'd have a long life story?? after making your background, go now to your characters, places, events and scenes that would happen... i suggest you watch cartoons to acquire exciting and good events...
i gave up my dreams of working on a comics.. T_T well, go..

You just have to train yourself to focus. Look for books on writing stories, they have many tips. Develop characters and a setting for them to inhabit, and go from there.
