i have an intel celeron d 2.8ghz cpu and it doesnt have HT technology, how do i enable this? if i cant enable this how can i over clock my cpu?

You can't enable HT on it period.

As for overclocking, your multiplier is locked so you can't do that. You will need to increase the front side bus speed, and if you don't know how to do that I suggest you do some research before you try it, overclocking can be safe and beneficial but you have to know what you are doing.

You can't, your mobo may have the feature listed in the bios but it should be off if you don't have a processor that can use it, more than likely it will be gray to begin with since any good mobo would detect it.

Also, I would not attempt to overclock at all unless you already know something about it. The first step is to make sure you have a good cooling system to deal with the extra heat it would create.

You overclock your cpu by changing the multiplier in the bios; if there is no option for you to do so you cant overclock. You cant enable anything in anything that doesnt have it, such as HT.

Might I add that overclocking your processor will shorten its lifespan.

you may enable it to get greater effective universal overall performance, yet you will might desire to benefit which you cpu enables it. in case you at artwork and that's a artwork pc it incredibly is possibly a shrink priced cpu and it won't help hyp-threading.
