It just seems as though all these men around cheat at some point. I'm sure some women do too but mostly I hear of men doing it during their "mid life crisis" excuse.

I think it is wrong for anyone to cheat. It makes the other partner feel horrible and worthless. I wish that wasn't even a possibility.

I don't know that there's any research indicating that men going through mid-life crises cheat at a higher rate than men who are not going through one. I think cheating is an individual thing. But if it's true, perhaps wanting a last dance with youth is one of the causes. Who wants to grow old? Also, a man in his 40s-60s might be less attracted to his wife. But again, it's an individual thing and I don't know of any actual data on the subject.

A lot of men do go through a stage in their life, the mid life crisis, to where we start loosing a piece of who we used to be. In turn some of us will go out and buy that motorcycle that we have always wanted or that sports car, but I have never heard of a man cheating on the wife because of this stage. DAMN people, not all men are cheater just as not all woman are cheaters.

It goes both ways on cheating, men cheat because they want new, and women cheat because they are lonely, because there husbands dont pay any attention to them at all.

That's just an excuse they'll use. Getting older is no reason to cheat. It's not like they get to a certain age and their penis goes off and does things on its own.

dont assume all men are the same thats so annoying, i have nevcer and will never cheat and i have absolute respect for my girl and i care about how she feels more then i care about how i feel. if your married to some feckin loser whos cheating on you leave him, dont villanise all men so as to make an excuse for his behaviour and a reason for you to not leave him.

i totally agree with you, all the cheating men are around 40 years old to 60 years...and no i dont think they give a **** about their wives.... whatever i think every woman is going to go through that...
