Dont pay attention to the paid apple advertisment. Get a pc if thats what your used to.
And both of those are great laptops, however I would recomend a AMD processor instead of intel, and that your laptop has built in wireless internet, atleast 2 usb2.0 plugs, atleast 1 firewire plug, and a dvd+r/cd burner
*Make sure it has
.AMD Processor (preferred)
.CD & DVD Burner
.USB 2.0
.Firewire
.Built In Wireless
