I hope he will be a Democrat.

I think it's likely. Most experts agree that we're heading into a period of economic turmoil in the near future. Given that the Democrats are likely to take at least one house this November, we can expect the blame for the downturn to be placed on the Democrats coming to power. Since Republicans are notoriously good at selling faulty logic through clever rhetoric, it seems likely enough people will buy it to swing things back for '08.

Of course, if an actual investigation into the lead-up to the Iraq occupation is conducted, and the truth is made obvious enough to convince even die-hard nationalists that Bush acted in the best interest of corporate profits and not American security, maybe not.

At least a 50% chance. Particularly if the Democrats run Obama and Hillary.

The best Republican bet is the politician who used to be John McCain.

Anything is possible. Will another state supreme court rule in favor of gay marriage like the one in Massachusetts? If so, that could significantly increase the odds of another Republican winning.

Political parties are merely an ILLUSION. Bush and other presidents are elected ONLY by THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...

I think the only chance of NOT having McCain as the next prez is Obama--unfortunately, it's not a great chance (if he even decides to run). Who else could possibly defeat McCain? Clinton? Gore? Kerry? Nope nope nope.

Its possible. McCain is a viable option.

I will oppose any other Republican president so long as there is blood in my veins.

Personally I think Fiengold is the best choice for president.

You mean in 2008?? There is no chance.

Bush has severely hurt the Republican party. Possibly beyond repair.

Wrong question...You should be asking will we ever have another conservative (principled) president and not just another RINO...!

RINO: Republican In Name Only.
