Go meet her and thank your stars that she has asked you to do that!
You say she is a good friend so take her a small item ( maybe a notebook from the dollar store ) She can write about her visit to the UK and share those memories with you when she gets back.
And remember; people you meet are many but friends are few and far between.

A good and real friend will never let the relation down. So go ahead and with a rose boquet and smile on your lips. Tell her that u had her always in your mind and will never forget her. Ask her to mail you frequently even after she moves further to U.K.
Never .... ever ... let this happen again, bcos time is the precious of all and we cant get it back. So let the things go in any direction, u go and meet her right now or else u will feel alot after she left for London. And girls are naturally lovable... she will definetly take it light and enjoy ur company at this last hours...

i'd say you should talk to her. what could be so bad to sit down with her one time before she leaves and maybe talk things over, or even just have small talk? i mean even if things go badly, you already have the assurance that you won't have to see her anymore anyway! and if things go well, you'll be happy you did it. if you don't, you will very likely regret it after she has gone.
